The St. Barnabas Sunday School program was reinstated in 1999 in response to the needs of a growing congregation.

Sunday School teacher Kate Beauchamp uses a curriculum called "Seasons of the Spirit" along with a variety of other resources to provide the children with an educational and enjoyable experience.

In addition to their written and oral activities, the children always make fun crafts to take home, and often receive extra support resources such as seasonal stickers and Advent calendars. And Kate adds, "We always have juice and cookies to celebrate our time together!"

Among the numerous accomplishments of this young Sunday School is the Christmas Pageant, held this past year on Advent III 2006. They joined with the Parish Nursery to put on a very well-received Pageant which featured the Holy Family, Shepherds, Angels, and several very little Sheep.
